Rake deals for the damn leaves that will not stop

Part of Patio & Garden. In season: scanned every day, March through April and September through November.

A rake is the least glamorous thing on this entire site and, for a few weeks a year, the most necessary. The trees don't care about your weekend. This page wakes up when the leaves come down and again when spring cleanup starts, and goes quiet the rest of the year, because scanning for rake deals in July is a waste of everyone's damn time.

How we damn well score rakes

Rakes are cheap, so the dollars saved are small and the score leans on everything else: how far the price sits below the rake's own 90-day history, how rare a price this low is for that rake, and how well it sells. A small drop on the rake everyone buys can outscore a bigger one on a rake nobody does. Out of season we stop scanning this shelf and spend those searches on things people are actually shopping for.

Questions

When are rakes cheapest?

Rakes and leaf-cleanup tools are often cheapest after the fall season ends, when demand drops and retailers clear stock. But you need one when the leaves fall, which is when we're watching.

Why is this page empty in summer?

We scan rakes only during fall leaf season and spring cleanup, so outside those months this page usually has no current deals. We come back when the leaves do.

Does a cheap rake need a big discount?

Slow-selling products must show a larger price drop to qualify, while top-selling rakes qualify at a smaller one. The rake everyone owns gets the benefit of the damn doubt.
