TV deals, measured against the price it actually sold for
Part of Electronics. Deals at $150 and up. Scanned every other day.
A TV's list price is the opening line of a negotiation nobody is having. Sets launch high, slide steadily, and spend most of their lives "on sale" — so the strikethrough on a television tells you almost nothing about whether today is a good day to buy. What does tell you something is where today's price sits against the set's own recent run. That is what this page shows, and only above a price floor, where getting it right is worth your damn time.
How we score TVs
Because TV prices slide as a model ages, a set can hit "its lowest price ever" just by getting older. So the drop is measured against the product's own last 90 days, not its launch price, and a price that has been sitting there for weeks scores lower than a fresh drop to a level the set rarely reaches. TVs also have to clear 4.1 stars across 200 or more reviews. A big panel from a brand nobody has reviewed isn't a deal; it's a gamble with a remote.

Questions
When are TVs cheapest?
TV prices are typically lowest around Black Friday and in the weeks before the Super Bowl, and outgoing models often drop further when new model years arrive in spring. Last year's set at a real discount is often the smartest damn buy on the wall.
Why doesn’t the list price matter?
Television list prices are set at launch and rarely reflect what a set actually sells for, so we score against the model's own recent selling price instead. The strikethrough is decoration.
Why only more expensive TVs?
This page lists televisions above a minimum price, so small accessory-grade screens do not crowd out full-size sets. Cheaper sets still turn up on the Electronics page when they earn it.
